Welcome to School Fun for Few Funds!!
I use internet images, word processors, and very cheap crafting materials to create the majority of my own lesson plans and classroom decorations.
In our preschool, we focus on one specific number per month. I have created a preschool relevant character-themed number line (1-10) to further engage my little ones!
What you are buying: a downloadable pdf version of this number line, ten pages in total. Each page has a set of characters matching the number. For example, #1 has one character and #10 has ten.
My number line is laminated, and located at eye-level in front of our circle-time carpet. Every month, I move one of the numbers out of the line (leaving a gap) and onto our bulletin board. The students immediately notice the empty space in the number line, which brings attention to its proper location in the sequence, and are excited to count out the newest batch of characters! I've found that the characters they love help them to remember the numerical association!
My preview includes: the unlaminated version of the number line, and where it is located in my classroom. Each sheet is meant for standard, 8x11 printer paper. I printed them on my home printer, and I have since laminated them for preservation purposes, using my 3 mil laminator from home!
