Laminate two game boards beforehand. Prior to students playing the game, write a letter and/or numbers, using a dry erase marker, in the black boxes you would like students to review. You can change the information in each box depending on student ability.

A divider – I use a book
9 manipulatives for each student (I use colored cubes and make sure each student has the same color and same shaped item in a bowl next to the game board.)
1. Student 1 tells Student 2 to place a colored “cube” on the letter or number on the game. Both students do this task.
2. Student 2 then tells Student 1 to do the same, but with a different colored item.
3. Once all letters/numbers are covered, then lift the divider to compare the boards.
