Welcome to School Fun for Few Funds!!
I use internet images, word processors, and very cheap crafting materials to create the majority of my own lesson plans and classroom decorations.
In our preschool, we focus on one specific shape per month. I have created food-themed shape sheets to further engage my little ones! Every month, I move one of the pages out of the line and onto our bulletin board to allow focus on that particular shape. I've found that using real-life versions of each shape helps to provide tangible examples for my students. They often point out the shapes within their own lunch, for example.
What you are buying: a downloadable pdf version of the shape sheets. There are 8 in total: circle, square, rectangle, diamond, oval, heart, triangle and star. Every page is made up of different food clipart that represents each of the shapes.
My preview includes: a photo of the unlaminated versions of the shapes, and where they are located in my classroom. Each printable is meant for standard, 8x11 printer paper. I printed them on my home printer, and I have since laminated them for preservation purposes, using my 3 mil laminator from home!
