Hello fellow educators!
This is a resource that I created for my Kindergarten reading
groups this year. As we know, at this age our kiddos need all the
repetition and practice they can get! My favorite way to use these
sight word practice sheets was by inserting them into dry erase
pockets. This allowed the students to use and reuse the practice sheets
until we moved on to the next set of sight words. I would also
sometimes insert two practice sheets (back to back) so that the
students could flip the dry erase pocket over when they were done
with the first word and practice another.
This resource is great for center work, individual sight word
practice, small group work, or even practice to send home with
parents! I included a few links below where you can purchase a set
of dry erase worksheet covers if you don't already have some lying
around. This resource could also be used as individual student packets.
For this resource you will need:
-Tactile ABC letters OR another resource in which students can "build the word" (ex: play dough or clay)
Thank you for your purchase! Happy teaching!
