Included in this file there is a pre-primer word list, and a footprint with each pre-primer sight word on each foot. The foot prints are available in color and black and white. For me, it is easier to print the feet in black and white on colored paper, because my school does not offer color printing.
There are many ways that these feet can be used!
I use these in my classroom by laminating and taping the feet where my students line up. They are to choose a word (from a bucket), say the word, then find the word to line up on. An extra challenge would be to have them use the word in a sentence for you.
This could also be used in a fun twister-like game, where students must find a word in a certain color and stick their left or right foot on the word.
There are many uses! Feel free to leave a comment describing how you use sight word foot prints in your classroom!
