Poetry can be scary. Poetry can also be challenging. This activity addresses both of these views of poetry.
In this activity, it takes the fear out of writing poetry because the writer doesn't have to follow any rules or patter. the only thing they have to do is end each line with the words that are already chosen for them. For the writer who enjoys poetry, this challenges them because they can follow the rules (or not) and still use the creativity/constraint of having words picked for them to end each line. Either way, it gives a poetry writer a chance to express themselves.
