This document includes 24 cards to print and cut out (consider laminating to reuse in the future). Each card contains a vocabulary word related to la belleza as well as two words students cannot say on their turn.
24 Vocabulary Words Included: abultado, la actualidad, el agrado, la artesanía, el autoestima, la belleza, el canon, la celebridad, la confianza, la diversidad, el estilo, la fabricación, inalcanzable, el prototipo, los rasgos, la sabiduría, único, diseñar, exigir, impulsar, fallecer, innovar, maquillarse, la personalidad
How to Play:
Divide students into teams. A representative from the first team selects a card and uses Spanish words/phrases/sentences to get his/her teammates to guess the vocabulary word on it without saying the two “taboo” words at the bottom. He/she continues drawing cards and giving clues after each correct guess until time runs out (I usually do about 30 seconds per turn). Then, it is the next team’s turn. Continue taking turns until there are no more cards left. I let teams pass once per round and put the card back in the stack. If the team doesn’t guess in time, I also add that card back to the stack. The team with the most points wins! (Played like Taboo!)
Please note: in order to keep this document editable, I left it as a Word document and the formatting is a little odd. Feel free to give me feedback if it would be better to sell it as a PDF. Thanks!
