Inverse Trigonometric Functions has always been a difficult topic for students. This resource, designed for Trigonometry and PreCalculus Classes, and usually found in PreCalculus Unit 4 - Trigonometry Functions, will give your students the practice and rigor they need to succeed. In addition, it has been shown that Activity-based learning facilitates better understanding and student involvement.
Included in the Activity:
# 1- 14 have numerical answers. Students either rely on their knowledge of the special angles such as π/6, π/3, or π/4 or set up a triangle to determine the values.
#15 – 20 Have answers in terms of x and students must set up a triangle to solve. Many cards have hints on them. This is an important skill for Calculus.
Note: You and your students must have access to the internet and have individual FREE Google Drive Accounts to use this resource.
