Use the warm up sheets each week. Each sheet has four warm ups, A-D. I use these Monday through Thursday in class and mix it up on Fridays with a YouTube clip or riddle challenge. Provide students with a copy of the week’s warm up on Monday. My students have 5 minutes at the beginning of class to complete the warm up before they may be called to explain the answer.
Use the provided Blank Template to create a warm up on material you don’t find in the files or to add extra questions to an existing topic. This template will allow you to match the text and format of the provided material.
If you find that you cover material in a different order than the weekly warm up sheets do, us the drag and drop template to drag any topic into the A-D warm up boxes. This way you can cover material in the order you prefer, review old material, progress at your own pace, and add your own warm ups.
Last but not least, the drag and drop files will allow you to project and customize the warm up for each day. Simply drag the warm up image into your PowerPoint or smart board application to project it for the class. These drag and drop files also allow you to create weekly sheets that are in the order you prefer. Just drag and drop them in the template.
