Locomotor activities happens to be one of my favorite ways to engage PreK to Kindergarten students in physical education class or Head Start programs.
It’s well known that Elementary locomotor skills set a foundation for your students to be able to participate in physical activity throughout life.
The secret to effectively motivate your kids and help them learn these essential skills is simply by making it fun!
However, when you’re a new P.E. teacher or homeschool instructor, it’s easy to get bogged down or lost in the tediousness of lesson planning. Why reinvent the wheel when you can follow a well laid out program that is already tried and true?
This is the September installment of my year-long series which includes a full month of done-for-you P.E. lessons that are print and play ready!
You get a complete lesson plan for each week, along with equipment and materials prep, task cards, and teaching suggestions! This is four weeks worth of lessons so you can have fun focusing your energy towards the kids instead of lesson planning.
Here’s what you get:
Four full lessons that last 30 minutes each
9 Locomotor Skill Task Cards
21 Additional Locomotor Skill Games
Week 1 - Intro to Locomotor Skills
Week 2 - Locomotor Skill Games ( Plus Directions)
Week 3 - Locomotor Skill Games (Plus Levels)
Week 4 - Locomotor Skill Games (Plus Pathways)
