How we use this in the classroom:
This resource can be used to discuss the Preamble to the United States Constitution. It includes a page of Preamble Notes which has the words broken down into phrases. There is room for students to take notes about what each phrase means as you discuss it together. (There is a guide included for student friendly language.)
Then the fun begins!
The phrases are repeated on separate pages for students to draw a visual representation of what those words mean. So many students are visual learners and they might be able to SHOW what these words mean easier than they can explain. Once all the phrases are drawn, you can put them up in order as a beautiful classroom bulletin board!
Option 1 – Printed words
Option 2 – Outline of words for students to color in
Option 3 – Cut out the words and use full size page for drawings
We hope y’all enjoy!
