This fun and creative group project is perfect for students to bring the Preamble to the Constitution to life! This project requires students to write the original phrases of the Preamble, paraphrase or summarize each phrase, provide an example of how our government has (or has not) achieved each phrase, and draw a picture to illustrate each phrase. This project is a great assessment as students dissect the text of the Preamble to the Constitution and make real-life connections. This project requires zero teacher preparation (student directions and grading rubric are included)!
I recommend downloading my FREE worksheet, "Paraphrasing The Preamble"
prior to this project! The worksheet, "Paraphrasing The Preamble" will help students organize and set up the information needed for this project.
