PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Recently, my school has started the routine of reciting the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence in class. As a 4th grade teacher, I realized that my students probably don't understand what many of those big words they're reading really mean.

This sheet goes with a matching Powerpoint presentation that includes all of these vocabulary words and their definitions. It can be found here. There is also a place for students to rewrite the Preamble in their own words. This could be used for many different grade levels as a quick Social Studies lesson.
