Make your animal unit more exciting! This game was created as an introduction to Food Chains and to get students to understand the difference between predator and prey. Students will be matched up with another student and have to decide if they are the prey or the predator in the situation.
The prey will run to base and the predator will chase the prey, trying to tag the prey before he/she makes it to base. If the predator tags the prey before base is reached, the prey was eaten. If the prey makes it to base first, the prey got away.
Each student will receive an animal or plant card. The cards are numbered to create a logical and real life predator and prey match. 30 card matches (60 cards) with answer key included!
