PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

VSEPR (Valence Shell Electron Pair Repulsion) sounds complicated, but actually it's as simple as counting from 2 to 6. Truthfully, there are a few considerations to correctly count the number of electron pairs surrounding the central atom, but once this is done the possible angles and shapes correspond to only one of five possibilities based on the number of electron pairs. This Powerpoint presentation defines VSEPR and explains the logic behind it. Then it shows pictorially and simply how to apply VSEPR.
