Predicting, inferring, & concluding can often be a tricky skill for our youngsters! Sometimes, I believe it's the vocabulary that really stumps them...being asked to infer, using that terminology sometimes stumps them more so than the actual act of having to infer. Therefore, I created this quick reference sheet for students to glue into their notebooks, tape to their desks, etc. to refer back to as a quick reminder that all it takes is what you already know plus what you read. My students have found this so helpful! Great for a minilesson!
