This prefix flip book teaches 12 different prefixes.
- un / non (on the same page)
- in, im, ir, il (on the same page)
- over / under (on the same page)
The pages are designed to be printed double sided. The front of each page has students practice turning the base/root word into a new and explaining the meaning of the new word. The back of the page uses a word with a prefix in a sentence. Students have to identify the prefix word and explain what it means. The five words on the front are different from the five words on the back.
Also included is a cover page for boys and girls, along with a notes page for prefixes, root/base words and suffixes, along with an example. There is a notes page that is already completed and one that students can fill in.
There are two versions of the flip book included: one that calls the middle word ("use" in "reuse") the base word and one that calls it the root word. There are 36 pages in the product, however each flip book has 18: a boy cover, a girl cover and 7 prefix pages, both front and back.
** Be ont he lookout for the suffix flip book coming soon and bundle of the two as well!
