If your students are anything like mine, they desperately need help building and taking apart words! This game is intended to be created in a file folder and you will receive instructions for making a file folder prefix/root word/sentence match game and the tools to create the game. However, if you want to just cut the sentence cards and prefixes out, that works too!
In addition to the contents of making the game, there is a poster that has the definition of "prefix" and there are the 20 cards for each prefix along with its meaning.
So, to sum it all up! You are buying:
-Teacher instructions for making the game
-Student instructions for how to play, this is also the COVER PAGE
-Prefix definition poster
-20 smaller posters (approximately half of an 8.5x11 piece of paper) for each prefix included in the game. That is: -re, -in, -dis, -im, -pre, -
un, -mis, -bi, -de, -tri, -tele, -non, -over, -under, -en, -auto, -super, -anti, -multi, -sub)
-28 cards that include the root word and a sentence in which the students must find the correct prefix to make the word fit in the sentence
-28 matching prefix cards
-Smaller list of prefix + meaning that will fit onto the file folder
I hope that this resource will help your students like it does mine! As always, please let me know if you have any suggestions or feedback. Leaving feedback will also help you earn credits to get free things! :)
Thanks for coming by!
