Prefix Power! Using Common Prefixes: Un Re Dis & In/Im
The prefixes in these activities are 5 of the most commonly used prefixes in school texts. These activities are designed to help your students become better at reading and understanding words with these prefixes: un, re, in/im, dis.
This product contains a lesson plan for teaching these prefixes and a variety of activities to help your students learn the prefixes, meanings, and common words that use these prefixes. The prefixes are broken into two groups to make teaching easier: “un & re” and “im/in & dis.” The lessons are perfect for small group instruction, centers, and independent activities. After you teach the lessons, these activities are ideal for word work centers!
