I created these cards to be used in the same fashion as the drill cards of Fundations/Wilson. They can be modified for the level of student using them. My students found that they helped them to recall important morphographs that are commonly seen in all content areas. The cards help students to expand their knowledge of prefixes, suffixes and roots. There are some blanks... add your own morphographs. I would never use nor introduce all at once. Again, depending on the grade level, they are meant to be used as a "Quick drill" not as a complete lesson in morphology. Spend 3-5 minutes daily, adding on when students are ready, reviewing and the releasing those morphographs students know well. Make sure to model transferring the use of these cards to daily reading and writing.
