    Prefixes

    The prefix resources include a big PowerPoint presentation and a set of 22 printable activities. The PowerPoint and the PDF of activities are packaged together in one zip file.

    The slide presentation includes lots of prefixes, divided into three groups for ease of use, with prefixes, definitions, sample words, and student activities on the slides. At the end of the PowerPoint there is a three-page student note sheet that can be printed out in advance for students to complete as they view the slides.

    The activity sheet set includes 22 activities. There are three each for the three groups of prefixes, plus thirteen more for various prefixes from the whole set. The activities include sorting, identifying, and writing, as well as a bingo game and practice cards. Also included is a teacher's list of all of the prefixes with several sample words for each.

    The prefixes are:

    bi-, tri-, uni-, super-, sub-, ex-, dis-, trans-, pre-, post-, in-, im-, il-, ir-, un-, re-, con-, com-, col-, ob-, op-, auto-, hydro-, de-, mis-, anti-, mega-, micro-, mini-, bene-, mal-, a-, ab-, be-, deca-, deci-, centi-, semi-, hemi-, quad-, octo-, and photo-.
