This work was developed when I noticed that my students loved tongue twisters. We've created our own before, as a writing worked, but I created this one specifically to pair with our study of prefixes. It also gives students an opportunity to the use the dictionary.
I suggest that you allow students who struggle with the concept to have one word (or two--it's at your discretion!) that starts with the same letter(s) as the prefix, but not necessarily the prefix itself.
Encourage your students to share their tongue twisters with each other--they'll love it!
