I usually give my students these questions at the beginning of the chapter and use these as assessment tool at the end of the chapter. These questions include old/new grammar and are aligned to I can statements of the chapter.
The “dichos” are popular cultural sayings use in the Latin-American culture. When we do the writing assessment for the chapter they have to include one of these in their writing. These are also great to present cultural topics.
I have my students memorize this for extra credit. It’s a good pronunciation practice.
