This collection of 6 art worksheets is about Prehistoric Art.
These are primarily for my art/ESL students to introduce artifacts that my 3rd Graders should know. They are not at all complete in that they are just intended to show a few major works I consider important for them to know. Showing prehistoric jewelry and sculpture teaches us that our prehistoric ancestors have a lot in common with modern man.
TIP: I show the colored worksheet on the Smartboard, while the students work on their black/white copies.

Open Ended, is usually a student directed process, where they can draw their feelings, emotions, reactions to the art work in the blanks provided. They can choose to copy the designs, outlines the shapes/forms, or even just draw one aspect. Open ended is not assessed and there is no right or wrong. Just encourage active participation in some form.
