Preposition Card Game and Spanish /k/ Articulation Targets
Use to target articulation sounds in Spanish and use in any language to target prepositional phrases, asking and answering yes/no questions, and problem solving.
This set of Spanish /k/ preposition targets can be used as flashcards, memory cards and to play a two-player guessing game (like Guess Who). Print three sets and keep them separate. Each player lays out one set of cards, face-up, in a 6x6 grid. Each player then selects one card from the third set and keeps this card a secret. The players ask each other yes/no questions to guess the secret card of the other player. As cards are eliminated, they should be flipped over until only the correct card remains face-up. The following questions can be used to elicit a yes/no response. I encourage students to rephrase the whole sentence to maximize target production.
