Prepositions are those groups of words that kids always seem to find difficult to understand and use in a sentence. Targeting 29 different prepositions, this pack contains both playing cards that feature a picture of a preposition (for games such as Memory, Go Fish and Snap) as well as flash cards that label the preposition on the cards for more explicit teaching. This is a simple resource that allows you the flexibility to do with as you wish.
✅ -- with words on them containing the prepositions: in, on, off, under/below, above, next to/beside, between, inside, outside, around, toward/to, across, into/through, in front, behind, up, down, with, before, after, near, opposite and away. Please note that some cards have two preposition words titled on them (beside/next to) for similar meanings for a total of 29 concepts targeted.
✅ -- containing the same pictures, but NO text and in the style of playing cards. The sets are already doubled so that you can just print the document as is.
✅ -- lists all 29 prepositions targeted in a simple progress monitor strip. There are separated into expressive and receptive so that you can record what you student's understand and say.
These are great for CCSS Kindergarten (L.K.1f) and Grade 1 (L.1.1i) games and supporting students with expressive and receptive language delays.
