To play students will take turns rolling the die and moving their marker that number of spaces. In order to remain in that space, students must correctly read/identify the preposition. If the student is unable to read/identify the word, they must return to where they were previously.
Any player landing on a SNAKE HEAD must slide down the body and stay in the box where the tail ends until their next turn.
Any player landing on a square with the BOTTOM OF THE LADDER climbs to the top of the ladder and remains there if and only if they can read the word at the top of the ladder.
Included are 2 versions with pictures or no pictures, answer key.
Both game boards available in black and white.
*Variation to make it more difficult would be having students create original sentences with the prepositions!
