I used this activity with my 4th graders last week and they LOVED it! With this activity, students are able to get creative and have a little fun, which helps make prepositions more entertaining, right? :)
Each student was given a turkey handout, which includes a turkey they cut out and decorate. From there, I took my class outside and we hid our turkeys. I gave them the example of, " My turkey is hiding under the slide." We did this 3 times, and the kids wanted to keep hiding their turkey and use different prepositions. When we came back inside we went over their handout and shared our preposition sentences.
