Prepositions 2 again applies a simple methodology to a concept that some students find challenging - choosing the correct preposition. There is an engaging picture with a sentence beneath that is missing a preposition. Students select the appropriate preposition to include in the sentence.
The initial resource - Prepositions - look at :- In, to, on, off, behind, beneath, at, on, from, in, with, into, of, between and around.
This time we look at:- After, below, beside, across, before, beyond, over, inside, toward, instead, without, within, through, past, near, up and around.
There is one task recommended before teachers use this resource. Laminate the sheets to preserve the life of the resource. And you will need to cut out the prepositions on the final page.
We really do hit common core from Language 1.1.i. This is not to say that the material cannot be used at other levels - especially where revision is needed.
