Your young readers and writers will learn to use prepositions such as those above in reading and writing.
These activities are versatile. This packet includes cards for matching and two cut-n-paste worksheets. Young scholars can use them independently or you can use them in a group. Send the worksheets home for homework or use as entrance/exit tickets. Set the cards up as a file folder game.
You can also use this, as I did, to foster higher order thinking skills. Students have to discuss why matching prepositional phrases to main sentences does or does not make sense.
