I have a student working on prepositions and I’ve noticed when I keep using the same visual board she starts to memorize what I’m asking so I’ve created these boards with different pictures to work on prepositions. You can have the student use a dry erase marker if you laminate them or you can use a physical object such as a pom pom, bingo chip or figurine.
There are 13 pages with different pictures working on prepositions such as over, in front, in between, under, besides. The first page is a visual to use to show students or post in the room. Most of the sheets have the same prepositions, sometimes I changed it to use synonyms for besides such as next to or used left and right.
There is a page with various pictures and then a page of directives to ask students. Some of the pictures are in different sizes so it also works on seeing if a student can determine the difference between small and big.
There is a visual scene of a beach/island and then a page of directives to ask students.
You can make the directions more complex for the pages with pictures. I only included one-step directions.
Everything can be printed or used on a smart board. You can also use them on an Ipad. I have students use a dry erase marker on my Ipad and it wipes off easily.
