**My main goal was to design a product to support my newcomer’s prepositional writing. However, this activity is great review for all EL students.
After I did this with my newcomer EL’s here are a couple recommendations I have to make the most of this product.
1. Have your students help make the dice! They love the interactive part of making their game. It will save you a little bit of prep. :) Choose dice #1 option a or b based on your students’ needs.
2.Use the sentence frames for lower level EL’s, and take away the frame for higher EL’s. Challenge them to expand their sentence. I had my higher newcomers add adjectives in front of the nouns!
3.Divide your students into pairs and work on all language domains- writing, speaking, reading, and listening, with this activity.
4.Please reach out to me if you have any questions or feedback. I appreciate you. Thank you for all you do for kids, you don’t hear those words enough. THANK YOU!
