***This is the template option. There is also a customized classroom version available here
As preschool teachers, we are always looking for fun and unique ways to work on name practice!
In this activity, students first use a bingo dauber to "dot" the letters in their name. Then, they trace (or write) their name at the bottom.
Included in this packet is:
10 different "themed" Dot 'N Write Forms
*2 plain with borders
*Three Little Pigs
There are also 2 forms available, one that says "Write" and one that says "Trace" for the differentiated levels in your classroom.
Tip on How to Use:
In my classroom, I have many parents who volunteer to help at home because they work. I send 3-5 names home with each parent (and all 10 sheets). They then fill in the circles with the letters in their name and then random letters in the extra circles. I write the names at the bottom and send them a “font” sheet so their letter formation is consistent. I then run all the pages off for each kid and pull them out/use them throughout the year! I also make sure they use a capital letter for the child’s first letter and lower case for the rest! I do not want my kids ever using all capital letters in name formation!!!!
