As a Preschool teacher, I would create a portfolio for each child in my class. I wanted to show the parents what skills their child has learned before they entered Kindergarten. Plus, I added their cute art projects and pictures of their child. To begin: I would purchase a white 3 ring binder with a clear pocket on the front. As their child completes a sheet, I would slide it in a page protector and place it in their binder.
This set of portfolio pages works on basic categories. You will read the category at the top of the page and have the child color the correct pictures that fit in that category. There are 5 work pages and one title page that I place at the beginning of the completed work. The following categories are use in this unit: farm, school, food, pets, and clothes.
