This is a worksheet designed to provide present continuous practice. On the first page, which can be transformed into a mini booklet, children will find simple and easy explanations about the usage and the structure of the present continuous, as well as some useful hints.
To make the booklet, first cut around the outside lines of the table, then fold in half shortwise. You'll have now 2x2 boxes on each side. Cut along the middle line, but only from the fold to the cross line. Next, unflod the paper and fold it again longwise, along the cut. Fold the two sides (along the lines) so that they meet in the middle. The cover page should face upwards. Now unfold again, hold both ends and push them towards each other until they meet in the middle. Finally fold the cover page over to make the mini book. It's that easy!
The worksheet continues with 8 exercises with different levels of complexity through which the children will reinforce their knowledge. You'll find exercises like:
1. Complete the charts
2. Write the "-ing " form
3. Am, is or are?
4. Look at the pictures and write questions and answers
5. Complete the sentences
6. Turn the sentences into negative
7. Write questions for the answers
8. Choose the correct sentence
The worksheet is full of colourful images as well, so and I'm sure the children will enjoy doing the exercises. It also contains the answer key, which will make your job easier. ;)
