A worksheet to practice conjugations with the present subjunctive and writing sentences. Students will conjugate 10 verbs and write 10 original sentences. This is a good practice as students are being introduced to the present subjunctive.
* Verbs included for present subjunctive conjugations: hablar, comer, vivir, despertarse, acostarse, aprender, correr, bailar, hacer, tener
* Introductory verbs for sentences: Querer, recomendar, sugerir, esperar, mandar, exigir, decir, rogar, pedir, aconsejar
1. Conjugate each verb in the present subjunctive
2. Write an original sentence using the introductory verb (present tense) and the subjunctive verb. Sentences must be 8 words minimum and must have two different subjects. Do not repeat any subjects. Post the word count at the end of every sentence.
Subjunctive formula: Subject 1 + introductory verb (present tense) + que + subject 2 + subjunctive verb.
Example: Insistir (present tense) / estudiar (present subjunctive)
El profesor insiste en que los estudiantes estudien para la prueba. (11)
