President Cleveland, Where Are You?: President Cleveland, Where Are You plot peak activity. This is a perfect activity for your courageous characters unit or a Presidents' Day activity. This activity is desgned to be used for the story President Cleveland, Where Are You? by Robert Corimer.
1. Cut apart the cards on the left and use to label the plot peak.
Adaptation: To challenge students, use only the definition cards to label the plot peak. For struggling students, leave the vocabulary card and definition attached rather than cutting them apart from each other. This scaffolding will help many EC and ELL students learn the vocabulary terms.
2. Cut apart the story events. Have students place the events in sequential order.
3. Have students place the events on the plot peak according to their story element.
Included in Activity:
student directions (in color and black & white)
blank plot peak
plot peak labels (terms and definitions)
