What would you change about our country if you were President for a day?
This booklet focuses on teaching students how to use transition words in their writing while pretending that they are the President for a Day! In this guided booklet, students pick one major issue from the 2016 Presidential Election and write one paragraph detailing three ways they would change that area if they were President for a day. For example, students can pick education and write three ways they would make our education system better.
Booklet includes rubric, worksheets on transition words, an example paragraph using transition words, and graphic organizers for student outlines.
