Students complete a 3 part activity to review President Cleveland and his presidency. The first part has 6 academic questions to help students review Cleveland's presidency. In the second part of the activity students "interview" Cleveland right after his inauguration (5 questions and answers), in the third part they conduct his last interview on his deathbed (5 questions and answers), and the final task is a bonus creative opportunity. An answer key is included where appropriate. This would work for a sub!
Sample questions include:
--Describe how these political cartoons illustrate the campaign for the election of 1884.
--What was the Pullman Strike and how did it take time and energy from Cleveland during his second term?
--Discuss how Cleveland felt about and handled international matters by discussing either events in Venezuela or the issue of Hawaii.
--What is the most important item on your presidential agenda?
--What do you think will be your biggest challenge in achieving your goals?
--What would you like your legacy to be?
