PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students review or learn about Truman's presidency by answering 15 questions, including a 7 part chart to compare and contrast the Marshal Plan and Truman Doctrine. Some questions have room for creativity, such as writing an obituary for the Rosenbergs and recreating the conversation when Truman found out about the atomic bomb's existence. Answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Additional sample questions include:
-Describe the goals and purpose of Truman’s Fair Deal.
-Why did North Korea invade South Korea? What decision did Truman make with regard to America’s role in the conflict?
-This is a headline from Truman’s presidency. Write a paragraph story to accompany it: The first color television program is broadcast, but no color sets are available for sale. June 25, 1951.
-Define and identify containment.
