Product Description
This lesson involves divergent thinking, the Constitution, and Presidency.

Student pretend to give political advice towards a potential Superman presidential bid. However, there might be a few Constitutional issues to overcome.

Students think critical about Superman running for president as they create policy to address two current national issues (gay marriage, immigrations, pollution etc.), list the powers of the president, create a list of the Superman traits as a president, and deal with the issue of Superman being an alien. Yes, he does not qualify run for president. What kind of solution can they create to deal with this impasse?


It's a great activity for kids to think critically about the office of the presidency.

This lesson includes instruction handout, writing rubric, Presidential powers/Superman traits chart, and teacher notes.
