What a fun way to get students talking about both presidents and their role in American history. Students collect clues from "He was the president during the Civil War" to "He had a pet turkey". (Both Abraham Lincoln)
Students work silently to compare clues and fill their Bingo boards. Once they have all the clues they should be able to figure out who each of the five mystery presidents are - George Washington, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Regan, Abraham Lincoln, and Barack Obama.
This activity will be a great way to jump start conversations about presidents and American history. Clues include references to the Civil War, the American Revolution, the Cold War, the Berlin Wall, and the assassinations (and assassination attempts) presidents have suffered.
There are 25 clues, but if you have more or fewer students you can handout multiple copies of clues or give some students more than one clue.
