**Note** This chart has been modified for the 2015/2016 Presidential ~ Primary debate season. There is now ample space available to write in multiple candidates as well as still answer the eleven prompts with definitions. Many educators have downloaded this debate graphic organizer in previous Presidential elections for their classroom. Now, feel free to download/buy this chart to use for your Primary Debate lessons as well!***
Original Description ~ This is a self-created blank chart that I use for the final debates of Presidential election both for the Presidential debates as well as the Vice Presidential debates. The chart is separated in eleven different topics such as “Homeland Security”, “Education”, and “Energy and Gas Concerns.” With each topic there is a brief three to four sentence definition explaining what the topic means and why it is important to the election. Students must write information down on the chart throughout the course of the debate in order to complete the assignment. I have used this assignment in the past and consider it to be a very thorough assignment.
