I created this PowerPoint presentation as a way to prepare my third-graders for a class election. I wanted to teach them that it's not only the responsibility of Americans to vote, but to be informed voters.
The first section is "What is a Presidential Election?" and is for sale individually in my product listings. It covers a wide array of informational about the election process. It can be used as first teaching for an introduction to presidential elections, or as a review for older grades who just need a refresher before a mock election. Topics covered include:

The second section focuses on facts about the major party candidates, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Is a non-biased, bipartisan look at the basic backgrounds, experience, and political positions of both candidates from a simple, elementary-appropriate perspective. Political positions discussed are:
