Just in time for the presidential election! Young students are taught that adults vote for the candidate with interests most similar to their own. This powerpoint presentation shows them the personal interests of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney (such as favorite food, favorite sport, favorite color, etc.) and gives students a chance to vote in each category for which candidate has interests most similar to their own. At the end, see which candidate won the most categories and declare a winner in your classroom! This activity will work great on an interactive board and includes picture cues to go along with the text.
