The Washington Post's Lily Cunningham does a fantastic job at making the Presidents of the United States come alive and become relatable. She discusses their personal lives and also legislation that was passed and how that effected American society.
This is a great way for students to review topics or even dive deeper into topics. Students are always on their phones and listening to something in their earphones, so this gives them something to listen to!
I use this in my classroom as an extra credit opportunity because the episodes range from 30-50ish minutes. Students complete these on their own time and I offer them to listen to the president we are currently in the time period of, even if we are not specifically talking about that president.
The form is general so it can be used for all of the episodes and always be offered to students.
