These are 42 flashcards of important AP U.S. History content linked to Presidents. Although in order to engage students it is designed as a competitive game of identifying Presidents, it is NOT presidential trivia. The cards contain key laws, court cases, diplomatic initiatives, and economic policies that students need to know, with the related President serving mainly as a memory device. Included is a note-taking handout for students organized according to the historical periods and concept outline entries from the new AP US History Course Description (2015 edition). The cards can be used as an activity for the entire class, but also can be kept in the classroom as a resource for individual students and small groups to use for review and study throughout the year. The card file is a Word document; after copying, each page will need to be cut into six cards.
