Take a virtual tour of the White House on the website included and use this worksheet (with answer key) to engage your students while exploring where our president lives. This is a great activity to do as a whole group lesson on an interactive TV, as well as individually on laptops. After exploring where the president lives, randomly draw a president (the names are already typed out and just need to be cut out!) and have students fill out a president biography page (included). To wrap up the unit, have students write a response to the writing prompt. I just finished this unit with my fourth graders and they LOVED it! I also enjoyed hearing the interesting facts that my students found!
