Estimated Lexile Measure: 850L

President's Day Summary:

The students at Caldwell School are doing research on significant Americans. They are each responsible for learning as much about a significant American as they can in order to give a presentation to their peers. One student struggles to find the best-fitting professional attire and a classmate comes to his rescue. In the end, the presentation goes off without a hitch and students learn a great deal about two early Presidents and how they have come to be celebrated.

Your students won't even realize they are working with this fun script and literature tool kit.

Use this resource to teach about Presidents' Day, use for any day fluency/comprehension/word work/writing, or utilize as plans for a substitute teacher. Your students will be engaged and completely diligent.
