Here is a fun, interactive President's Day craftivity for you to integrate into your lesson. Give each student a part of the mural to color. Once all of the pieces are colored this is a great piece to hang in the hallway or decorate on the bulletin board. This activity can be paired with a video or presentation about Mount Rushmore and then decorate the border with Fact Trees!
Tips for coloring and assembly:
*This project works best when students color each section one color, using the edge lines as section guides, and everyone uses the same coloring utensil (crayon, colored pencil, marker, etc).
*Number each piece of the mural on the back in the order they come out of the printer, this will help you when piecing your art together.
